On fettisdagsbulle day, Sweden’s Shrove Tuesday, we hosted our first PLM seminar in Borås, Sweden, dedicated to Quality and CSR, along with our guest speakers Lotta Höijer, SME consultant in Quality and CSR, Daniel Lambert-Krüss, Regional Sales at InRiver and Alex Aubry, Product Development Manager at Norrøna.
Catch up on our guest speakers speech:
“Every product tells a story,” explained Daniel Lambert-Krüss, Regional Sales at InRiver.
“71% of prospective online buyers rely on product information. This is why you need to tell the right story to your customers.”
“Working in quality is like working in marketing. Everybody has to understand your message. The question is how to handle quality?” added Lotta Höijer, former Textile Specialist for Central China at IKEA and Quality Manager for ETON Shirts, now SME consultant in Quality and CSR. “It all comes back to one maxim: Trust is good, control is better!”
Communicating product and production requirements, monitoring product development, knowing your suppliers and creating your own documentation are just a few of the key prerequisites to ensure product quality.
Alex Aubry, Product Development Manager at Norrøna agreed, “With Centric 8 PLM, we now have a common tool to share consistent data internally and externally which help us improve communication, reduce errors, speeds product specification and sample evaluation and facilitate material testing and traceability to enhance overall product quality and deliver best in class products. Centric is a best practice system driven by users.”
